Kathy Jordan
Founder and CEO

Kathy Jordan is the founder and president of Jordan Search Consultants, a search firm providing innovative healthcare, executive, and higher education recruitment solutions to clients throughout the nation. With almost three decades of professional recruiting experience, Kathy has a thorough understanding of the changing dynamics in the healthcare and higher education industries and has gained a national reputation for her unique recruitment and retention initiatives. Her ability to quickly assess an organization’s corporate culture and the professional and personal goals of each candidate produces bottom-line benefits for clients. By partnering with hospitals, medical groups, academic institutions, and healthcare organizations to develop recruitment models designed to meet their goals, Kathy has effectively helped clients reduce time-to-hire, increase retention rates, and reduce recruitment costs.

Kathy received her Bachelor’s degree in Business and Marketing from Lindenwood University in St. Louis, MO. She has completed multiple hours towards a graduate degree in professional counseling and is an active member of the Medical Group Management Association, American College of Medical Practice Executives, the National Association of Physician Recruiters, and the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council. As a member of the National Association of Physician Recruiters, Kathy has served on the Ethics Committee, further demonstrating her passion for maintaining the integrity of the staffing industry. When she is not absorbed in solving client recruitment challenges, as a life-long St. Louis resident, Kathy loves enjoying the amenities of the city. She also enjoys traveling, gardening, spending time with family and friends, volunteering, and mentoring young women in personal and business growth and development.

Regina Levison
Vice President of Client Development

Regina Levison was the founder and president of Levison Search Associates, a California-based physician and healthcare executive search firm, for more than three decades; her firm merged with Jordan Search Consultants in 2014. Regina harnesses her in-depth knowledge and experience to develop recruitment solutions that improve revenue, quality, and retention for healthcare organizations nationwide. Frequently interviewed by the media as an established thought leader in physician recruitment, Regina has been asked to speak about healthcare staffing nationally.

With expertise in forensic job search, job search assessment, compensation, benefits, and recruitment incentives, Regina is one of few recognized Expert Witnesses in the provider recruitment industry; she regularly provides her opinion in the areas of wrongful termination, spousal support, unfair business practices, slander, loss of privileges, and more.

Regina graduated from California State University in Sacramento, CA, with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Before founding Levison Search Associates, she held various leadership positions at search firms in San Francisco. In 1995, Regina co-founded the Society of Professionals in Healthcare, an organization that merged four healthcare professional associations dedicated to education and professional growth for executives and physicians committed to positioning their organizations for the future. She is an active member of the American Association of Integrated Healthcare Delivery, The IPA Association of America, the Medical Group Management Association, rural health associations, advanced practitioner and technologist associations, and professional groups for recruitment and staffing.

When she is not devising solutions to client recruitment challenges, Regina enjoys spending time with her husband, traveling, history, movies, and an exceptional glass of wine.

Kristin Koppen
Vice President of Executive Search

For almost four decades, Kristin Koppen has been at the forefront of the recruiting industry. After an almost two-decade career in Human Resources at two major Fortune 100 companies, Kristin founded her own recruiting firm, The Koppen Group, in 1993. In 2012, after 20 years as President of The Koppen Group, she joined forces with Jordan Search Consultants. As the Director of Executive Search at Jordan Search Consultants, Kristin combines her extensive background in working with corporate and higher education clients with the ability to implement broad-based and customized executive search and recruitment strategies to meet client needs.

Kristin received Bachelor’s degrees in both French and History from William Woods College in Fulton, MO, and is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). She enjoys keeping abreast of the ever-changing higher education recruitment landscape and spending time with family and friends.

Sheila Bixler
Vice President of Client Services

As the Vice President of Client Services at Jordan Search Consultants, Sheila Bixler manages search assignments, analyzes recruitment needs, and develops strategies that reduce time-to-fill and enhance retention rates for clients. Sheila’s nearly two decades of healthcare industry experience has been the impetus for several new search service lines and innovative sourcing strategies to better serve clients. In fact, Sheila designs Jordan Search Consultants’ candidate sourcing services for the company’s physician, physical therapist, pharmacist, and advanced practitioner search offerings. Clients benefit from Sheila’s tenacity and her ability to uncover both active and passive candidates to effectively fill staffing needs. She is adept at customizing recruitment solutions to best meet client goals.

Sheila received a Bachelor’s degree in Recreational Therapy from the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO. When she is not directing search efforts, Sheila enjoys spending time with her husband and children, biking, swimming, and reading.

Michael Levison
Chief Technology Officer

As the Chief Technology Officer for Jordan Search Consultants (JSC), an innovative healthcare, executive, and higher education recruitment solutions firm serving clients nationwide, Michael ensures top-tier technology is used to drive clients’ recruitment initiatives. In addition to ensuring that JSC has state-of-the-art applications available, he trains staff so they work more efficiently with candidates and clients.

Prior to joining JSC, Michael implemented databases for his own company as well as the First Choice partnership of healthcare recruitment firms throughout the United States. Before joining the recruitment industry, he was the Director of Franchising for the largest floor covering chain in the United States.

He graduated from California State University at Sacramento with a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. Michael is past president of the National Association of Physician Recruiters (NAPR), and also served on the joint NAPR-MGMA Physician Placement Starting Salary Survey Committee.

Heidi Johnson
Director of Recruitment

As Director of Recruitment at Jordan Search Consultants, Heidi Johnson develops, plans, and implements effective recruitment initiatives for client organizations. With more than two decades of healthcare industry experience, including 13 years in a large multi-specialty group, she understands the challenges faced by healthcare organizations—especially in today’s ever-changing environment. As such, Heidi is extremely skilled at evaluating client challenges and offering customized solutions. A strategic communicator, she enjoys building relationships and is committed to top-tier client service.

Heidi attended California State University in Sacramento, CA and the Pacific College of Legal Careers. When she is not addressing client recruitment challenges, Heidi is usually cooking, spending time with her husband, trying new restaurants, sailing, traveling, or donating her time and resources to various breast cancer awareness activities and organizations.

Amy Taylor
Director of Operations

Amy Taylor is the Director of Operations at Jordan Search Consultants. In this position, she is responsible for managing company finances, developing and maintaining human resources initiatives, and contributing to short- and long-term organizational goals. With more than a decade of experience in project and executive management, Amy brings a variety of skillsets to the team at Jordan Search Consultants.

Amy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Management and is currently enrolled in a Master’s of Healthcare Administration program at Southern New Hampshire University. When she is not working on a Jordan Search Consultants project, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, hiking, and boating.

DJ Larson
Director of Client Development

DJ Larson is the Director of Client Development at Jordan Search Consultants. In this role, he is responsible for ensuring the needs of current clients are met and developing new healthcare client relationships. In addition, DJ will work with Jordan Search Consultants’ leadership team to concept and launch additional service lines to more comprehensively serve clients. He finds satisfaction in uncovering what makes a client organization unique—and translating this to a competitive advantage.

Prior to joining Jordan, DJ worked in executive sales positions at both Covidien Healthcare and Johnson and Johnson. In 2012, he assumed the role of Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Lehan Drugs, Inc. and produced more than 100% sales growth for four consecutive years.

DJ received his Bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University. He is a member of the American Society of Health System Pharmacists. When he is not working, DJ enjoys biking, golfing, and spending time with his wife and three children. He also loves to build his unique sock collection—you’ll never find him in black or brown dress socks!

Matt Jordan
Senior Search Consultant

As the Senior Search Consultant with Jordan Search Consultants, Matt Jordan conducts and manages search assignments nationwide beginning with in-depth, on-site analyses that involve consultations with healthcare executives and physicians to determine recruitment goals and challenges. With more than a decade of experience in recruiting, account management, and client service, Matt combines knowledge and expertise to develop creative solutions to fill client recruitment projects. A strong, consistent, and clear communicator, Matt is adept at strengthening client relationships at all levels of an organization.

Matt graduated from Lindenwood University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Communications, and is an active member of the National Association of Physician Recruiters. When he is not assessing the culture of an organization or meeting with clients and prospects, Matt enjoys practicing Muay Thai kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, snowboarding, and reading.

Adam Rockey
Executive Search Consultant

As Executive Search Consultant, Adam Rockey establishes new client and partner relationships and strengthens existing ones. He brings almost a decade of sales and client development experience to the Jordan Search Consultants team. Prior to joining JSC, Adam served as a sales representative for a pharmacogenomics lab and directed sales and service efforts at Lockhaven Golf Club.

Adam is a professional golfer and is skilled at networking both on and off the course. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Business with a major in Marketing from Illinois State University.

Adam serves on the Young Professionals Board of Ranken Jordan Pediatric Hospital and is the current Chair of the Crider Health Center Foundation Board. He is a member of the Rotary Club and volunteers as a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of St. Louis, MO.

Kat Byrne
Recruitment Associate

As the Recruitment Associate for Jordan Search Consultants, Kathryn (Kat) Byrne supports our recruiters in facilitating and expediting candidate sourcing and selection for clients, evaluating resources to execute recruitment strategies, and providing ongoing administrative assistance. Her excellent research skills and ability to analyze large amounts of data quickly and effectively make her an important part of the recruitment team.

Prior to joining JSC, Kat was the Assistant Director of Admissions at Maryville University in St. Louis, MO. In this position, she was responsible for planning and executing overall territory management strategy and relationship building in order to garner new applicants and shepherd existing ones through the admissions process. She is adept at multi-tasking and tracking projects through to completion.
When Kat is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. She is an avid podcast listener and enjoys growing her own vegetables.
