Kathy Jordan, Jordan Search Consultants

Kathy Jordan is the founder and CEO of Jordan Search Consultants, a search firm providing innovative healthcare, executive, and higher education recruitment solutions to clients throughout the nation. She leads the JSC team as they customize strategic recruitment solutions for healthcare organizations across the nation. By partnering with clients to develop recruitment models designed to meet their goals, Jordan Search Consultants reduces time-to-hire, increases retention rates, and reduces recruitment costs.

With almost three decades of professional recruiting experience, Kathy has a thorough understanding of the changing dynamics in the healthcare and higher education industries and has gained a national reputation for her unique recruitment and retention initiatives. A recognized thought leader, she is frequently asked to share insights and expertise on executive recruitment, team development, personality testing, cultural fit, and multigenerational workforces. Kathy has spoken on these topics, as well as population health and rural healthcare recruitment, at healthcare leadership conferences across the nation, including Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), Association of Staff Physician Recruiters (ASPR), and The IPA Association of America (TIPAAA). She has also been published in national publications including Medical News, Executive Insight, MGMA Connection, Becker’s Hospital Review, AMGA Group Practice Journal, and more.

As a member of the National Association of Physician Recruiters, Kathy has served on the Ethics Committee and is passionate about maintaining the integrity of the recruitment industry. She is also an active member of the Medical Group Management Association and the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council. When Kathy is not absorbed in solving client recruitment challenges, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, volunteering in the community, and mentoring young women in personal and business growth and development.

Kristin Koppen
Vice President of Executive Search

Kristin KoppenFor almost four decades, Kristin Koppen has been at the forefront of the recruiting industry. After an almost two-decade career in Human Resources at two major Fortune 100 companies, Kristin founded her own recruiting firm, The Koppen Group, in 1993. In 2012, after 20 years as President of The Koppen Group, she joined forces with Jordan Search Consultants. As the Vice President of Executive Search at Jordan Search Consultants, Kristin combines her extensive background in working with corporate and higher education clients with the ability to implement broad-based and customized executive search and recruitment strategies to meet client needs.

Kristin received Bachelor’s degrees in both French and History from William Woods College in Fulton, MO, and is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). She enjoys keeping abreast of the ever-changing higher education recruitment landscape and spending time with family and friends.

DJ Larson
Chief Operating Officer

DJ Larson

DJ Larson is Chief Operating Officer at Jordan Search Consultants. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing business development initiatives as well as directing day-to-day operations. DJ ensures that the infrastructure and processes at Jordan Search Consultants are optimized to keep pace with the continued growth of the company. He also leads and manages JSC’s team of consultants. Before becoming COO, DJ was Director of Client Development at Jordan Search Consultants, where he focused on developing and maintaining healthcare client relationships and service offerings.

Prior to joining JSC, DJ worked in executive sales positions at both Covidien Healthcare and Johnson and Johnson. In 2012, he assumed the role of Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Lehan Drugs, Inc. and produced more than 100% sales growth for four consecutive years.

DJ received his Bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University. He is a member of the American Society of Health System Pharmacists. When he is not working, DJ enjoys biking, golfing, and spending time with his wife and three children. He also loves to build his unique sock collection—you’ll never find him in black or brown dress socks!

Matt Jordan
Senior Search Consultant

Matt JordanAs the Senior Search Consultant with Jordan Search Consultants, Matt Jordan conducts and manages search assignments nationwide beginning with in-depth, on-site analyses that involve consultations with healthcare executives and physicians to determine recruitment goals and challenges. With more than a decade of experience in recruiting, account management, and client service, Matt combines knowledge and expertise to develop creative solutions to fill client recruitment projects. A strong, consistent, and clear communicator, Matt is adept at strengthening client relationships at all levels of an organization.

Matt graduated from Lindenwood University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Communications, and is an active member of the National Association of Physician Recruiters. When he is not assessing the culture of an organization or meeting with clients and prospects, Matt enjoys practicing Muay Thai kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, snowboarding, and reading.

Adam Rockey
Executive Search Consultant

Adam Rockey

As Executive Search Consultant, Adam Rockey establishes new client and partner relationships and strengthens existing ones. He brings almost a decade of sales and client development experience to the Jordan Search Consultants team. Prior to joining JSC, Adam served as a sales representative for a pharmacogenomics lab and directed sales and service efforts at Lockhaven Golf Club.

Adam is a professional golfer and is skilled at networking both on and off the course. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Business with a major in Marketing from Illinois State University.

Adam serves on the Young Professionals Board of Ranken Jordan Pediatric Hospital and is the current Chair of the Crider Health Center Foundation Board. He is a member of the Rotary Club and volunteers as a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of St. Louis, MO.

Amy Taylor

Amy TaylorAs a Search Consultant, Amy Taylor is responsible for conducting and managing search assignments nationwide. Amy’s long history with Jordan Search Consultants as the former Director of Operations gives her a unique perspective on determining recruitment goals and search needs. Knowledgeable about the healthcare industry and recruitment strategy development, Amy is skilled at identifying candidates and presenting solutions to recruitment challenges. With more than a decade of experience in project and executive management, Amy brings a variety of skills to the team at Jordan Search Consultants.

Amy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Management and is currently enrolled in a Master’s of Healthcare Administration program at Southern New Hampshire University. When she is not working on a Jordan Search Consultants project, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, hiking, and boating.

Laura Perry
Search Consultant

Laura Perry

In her role as a Search Consultant, Laura Perry is responsible for recruiting professionals to help provide coordinated care for patients living with chronic illness. Her extensive recruiting experience includes positions at all levels, including regional manager overseeing a two-state area. Laura excels in in sales, operations administration, and managing employees and accounts for recruiting companies. Additionally, she brings considerable experience in technology implementation and application within the recruitment arena. Her impressive work accomplishments are fueled by a life-long passion for connecting job seekers with employers.

Laura holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Bradley University. Prior to joining Jordan Search Consultants, she was a Regional Manager for Ridgemont Resources, a pharmacy recruiting company. When Laura isn’t working, she focuses on spending quality time with her six children – playing outside, enjoying water sports, or engaging in activities chosen from their “Family Adventures Bucket List.”

Galen Roberts
Search Consultant

Galen RobertsGalen Roberts brings more than a decade of healthcare provider recruitment experience to his role as Search Consultant at Jordan Search Consultants. Having been both an in-house recruiter for a hospital system and a search consultant in charge of placing both permanent and locum tenens positions, Galen offers unique perspectives to serve JSC’s clients.

With experience in physician recruiting, on-boarding, credentialing, sourcing, prospecting, and relationship building, Galen thrives on forming a long-lasting partnership with clients. Prior to joining Jordan Search Consultants, Galen served as a Client Liaison and Physician Recruiter in metro and rural Missouri. His entire career has been spent in healthcare recruiting and customer service leadership roles.
Galen received his Bachelor’s Degree from Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas. He has served as a Board Member of the Southeast Missouri Area Health Education Center. When he isn’t in the office or with clients, Galen enjoys spending time with his son, going to concerts, and taking advantage of the great outdoors by camping or kayaking.

Kat Byrne
Recruitment Associate

Kat Byrne

As the Recruitment Associate for Jordan Search Consultants, Kathryn (Kat) Byrne supports our recruiters in facilitating and expediting candidate sourcing and selection for clients, evaluating resources to execute recruitment strategies, and providing ongoing administrative assistance. Her excellent research skills and ability to analyze large amounts of data quickly and effectively make her an important part of the recruitment team.

Prior to joining JSC, Kat was the Assistant Director of Admissions at Maryville University in St. Louis, MO. In this position, she was responsible for planning and executing overall territory management strategy and relationship building in order to garner new applicants and shepherd existing ones through the admissions process. She is adept at multi-tasking and tracking projects through to completion.
When Kat is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. She is an avid podcast listener and enjoys growing her own vegetables.

Carrie Agler
Accounting & Human Resources Manager

Carrie Agler

As the Accounting and HR Manager at Jordan Search Consultants, Carrie Agler provides leadership and direction to the operational side of the company. She is responsible for overseeing financial and personnel functions, including managing company finances, developing and maintaining human resource initiatives, establishing company policies, and supporting organizational goals.

With an extensive background in office management and executive support, Carrie brings more than two decades of experience in operational management to the Jordan Search Consultants team.

Carrie attended St. Charles Community College. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and pursuing her passion for photography and art.

Brandon Shockley
Client Development Consultant

In his role as a Client Development Consultant, Brandon focuses on cultivating new healthcare client relationships, as well as working with current Jordan Search Consultants’ (JSC) clients to ensure their expectations are exceeded. He also collaborates closely with JSC team members to identify client challenges and implement solutions to achieve positive results.

With more than a decade of experience in medical device sales, Brandon has seen firsthand how the right solutions can positively affect patient outcomes and standards of care. He brings strong sales, communication, and relationship-building skills to JSC, as well as a passion for making a substantial, positive impact on physicians, patients, and communities.\

Brandon attended St. Louis University on a baseball scholarship and earned a B.S. in Business Administration. He still loves the game of baseball and continues to help coach in the area. When he is not working, he enjoys golfing, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his wife and two children.

Katy Clark
Recruitment Assistant

Katy Clark, Recruitment AssistantAs a Recruitment Assistant, Katy Clark supports Jordan Search Consultants’ (JSC) recruiters by researching and compiling prospective candidate datasets. Katy is a careful, thorough researcher and is adept at organizing large amounts of information into ordered, usable formats. Her work results in a competitive advantage for JSC—and our clients.

Before joining JSC, Katy worked in inventory and operations management for medical devices companies. In addition to data entry and inventory management, she also has experience in administrative duties, including bookkeeping and accounting. She is exceptionally organized and detail-oriented, as well as a skilled multi-tasker.

Outside of work, Katy enjoys baking, reading, attending concerts, going camping, and spending time with her husband and infant son.
