The Center for Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders has an outreach network of 36 hospitals/clinics throughout Illinois, a brain bank, a neuropsychology program, robust clinical trials program, dedicated wet lab space, equipment and personnel and specialty clinics for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease and other degenerative dementias.
 

We are seeking a physician interested in Translational and clinical research in Dementia and neurodegenerative disease.  Salary and research support, laboratory space and supplies, and mentorship are available.  We can promise 40% protected time for research with the remaining time spent in clinical and teaching activities.

Qualifications include: Board eligible/certified in Neurology and at least one year of postdoctoral training or equivalent job experience in behavioral neurology. Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice medicine in the state of Illinois.
